Importing Customer Data to populate  a new customer profile

Fieldaware allows you to import your customer data from your existing systems, eg QuickBooks, Excel etc. This covers all the usual fields such as name, address, contact data, billing address etc. If your data needs cleanup we will help you through this.

 



Exporting Workorder/Invoice data to the accounts package (Quickbooks etc.)

Once your jobs have been completed and are invoicable, FieldAware will export your data to QuickBooks or whatever CVS file format is required to allow your accounts function to handle the invoice.

 

 



Building a new/unique/required custom field in customer profile

We supply given fields to you in the customer profile, but we couldn’t possibly anticipate all the fields you might require in your own business. If you require a field unique to your business in the customer profile then you simply create a custom field and label it as you wish. That field is now included your customer profile, along with any others you create. The exact same process is carried out to create custom fields in products and to create them in tasks. This underlies FieldAwares belief in creating as much flexibility as possible in the application.


These are the key activities (among others) in the Settings (Admin) role. Frequently it is the preserve of the service manager, but often given to the Service Administrator to deal with.
