Deskera and FieldAware Partner to Provide Real-Time Connection to Field Service Teams

Companies integrate field service management with ERP and project management software to help eliminate costly client and billing delays

San Francisco, Calif - April 11, 2017 - Today Deskera, a leading cloud-based ERP provider, and FieldAware, the made-for-mobile field service management provider, are excited to announce their software integration that will help businesses all over the world bridge the technology and communication gap between field service and finance departments.

Every service team knows that jobs can change by the second. From an unexpected problem on-site to a traffic delay, there are infinite situations that can cause a job to run long, be delayed, or rescheduled altogether. Without the right technology, how field teams communicate these changes can create immediate issues with upcoming jobs and lead to significant delays in the billing process or invoicing errors further down the line.

With this integration, any updates created in the field on FieldAware’s mobile app will be automatically reflected in linked accounts in Deskera’s Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) and Project Management (PM) products and vice versa. Whether adding a new task, making changes to a job, or marking work complete, Deskera and FieldAware sync in real-time to minimize information lag and billing delays, ensuring clients get the best in both on-site and back-end service.

“Deskera is known for providing small and mid-sized companies with great cloud technology so they can run their business from anywhere,” said Cameron Ackbury, Deskera’s President of U.S. Operations. “This integration of Deskera and FieldAware makes real-time communication between field and back-end services teams a reality and aligns perfectly with our mission to help businesses build stronger connections among internal departments and, ultimately, with their customers.”

“FieldAware was built to integrate, allowing businesses to take advantage of best-of-breed field service that works seamlessly with their current back office solution right from the start,” said Steve Mason, CRO of FieldAware. “We are delighted to announce this integration with Deskera which will mean that businesses can easily combine the power of both solutions to better service their customers while streamlining business processes and transforming how work is dispatched, documented and performed in the field.”

The integration is currently live in Deskera ERP and PM software for all clients.
