Veteran tech leader takes the reins as mobile tech company expands
PLANO, TX and DUBLIN – June 18, 2015 – FieldAware, the leader in made-for-mobile, cloud-based field service automation solutions, has named Charles Jackson as its new Chief Executive Officer. Jackson, a tech entrepreneur with a successful track record leading companies through impressive growth, takes the helm as FieldAware expands its success across industries, partner-ships, and mid-market to enterprise customers. As CEO, he will join FieldAware’s Board of Directors.
“The rapid growth of mobile devices as business tools has enabled field services to expand beyond the traditional ‘service tech’ definition, to virtually any function that is performed outside the office. FieldAware has built a highly flexible mobile service platform that is unmatched in this market and uniquely positioned to take advantage of its explosive growth,” said Jackson. “We have an incredible opportunity in front of us and I am excited to join the team.”
Charles Jackson has more than 15 years of experience in the tech industry, primarily as an executive in supply chain management. Prior to FieldAware, he held positions at Ariba/SAP as EVP of Customer Management and Managing Director of Network Solutions. Jackson joined Ariba/SAP through the acquisition of Quadrem, where he spent ten years, first as COO and then as CEO. Under his leadership, Quadrem became one of the world’s largest supply networks and the leading supply management solution.
“Charlie brings the right experience and leadership needed to capitalize on FieldAware’s great potential,” said Bill Beamish, FieldAware board member and investor, and former CEO. “He has a talent for helping customers understand, deploy and benefit from new innovative technologies, and for growing emerging companies into market-leading enterprises.”
